Biographically Speaking

So, here I am …

This is the place that “started it all” for me. I started off my social media endeavors with this blog, a Twitter account, a LinkedIn profile, and a Facebook profile. I was wide-eyed and ready to conquer the world after a market crash so severe people deemed it “The Second Great Depression”. I, like so many others, had lost every penny I had. When all seemed hopeless, I found that my ability to network and connect with people to be my saving grace.

The site itself has evolved over the years, been shut down completely by a crippling malware attack, and is once again rising up. I live and breathe the mantra “I don’t give in, and I don’t give up. Ever.” .

Since this blog, I created a Marketing and Public Relations business, became a Freelance Food Writer with my own website, and I created a seasonal Victorian inspired fashion accessories business.

Personally, I received my Bachelor’s Degree have many years of hard work and perseverance. Currently, I’m for an International Catholic non-profit. You can connect with me via this website as well as social media if you’re interested in doing so.

Some of my favorite quotations are:

“The measure of a man is the way he bears up under misfortune.” Plutarch

“Go to the people. Learn from them. Live with them. Start with what they know. Build with what they have. The best of leaders when the job is done, when the task is accomplished, the people will say we have done it ourselves.” ~Lao Tzu

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” ~John Quincy Adams

“The thing always happens that you really believe in; and the belief in a thing makes it happen.” ~Frank Loyd Wright

“The man who makes a success of an important venture never wails for the crowd. He strikes out for himself. It takes nerve, it takes a great lot of grit; but the man that succeeds has both. Anyone can fail. The public admires the man who has enough confidence in himself to take a chance. These chances are the main things after all. The man who tries to succeed must expect to be criticized. Nothing important was ever done but the greater number consulted previously doubted the possibility. Success is the accomplishment of that which most people think can’t be done.” ~C. V. White

“When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it’s time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things will happen: either you will be given something solid to stand on, oryou will be taught to fly.” ~Edward Teller

If you engage with me on social media or here on the blog please know that yes, it is indeed me. I may take a little bit to get back to you, but I will.
